That question is answered later in the movie when we see 'Q' having a drink whilst trying to decrypt the information from Sylva's laptop. He is drinking from a mug featuring the Scrabble 'Q' logo and the number 10 - which is the number of points that you score in a game of Scrabble for using the letter Q.
Now one thing that I've noticed whilst researching getting my mug is that there are two different Wild and Wolf Scrabble mugs - but only one of them is the screen accurate. As you will see from the below image one of them is for the UK market and one is for the American market - and American Scrabble uses a different font for the letters than the UK version of the game. The UK version is the one that appeared in the movie. I recently contacted Wild and Wolf via their website and was glad to get an answer to some questions I asked from Sarah Plenty, (surely a name worthy of a Bond Girl), their Marketing and PR Coordinator: Q: Had the use of the mug been arranged with yourselves prior to the film being made? A: We have been selling the Scrabble alphabet mugs to our customers since 2010 so we were pleasantly surprised to see it had been used in such an iconic film, however we didn't arrange it. Q: What did your company think when they saw the mug in the final film? A: We were thrilled to see it in the film and were all very excited to watch it. Q: How did this affect the sales of this particular item? A: With regard to stock the demand was huge and had we known about the appearance in the film our sales would have been up massively but unfortunately we weren't able to fulfil all orders immediately as we sold out very quickly!
